- Have Facebook? Change your status and explain why child care matters to you? Your community? Pass on our link childcaresolutions.weebly.com by copying & pasting, so others know what you are talking about?
- Have Twitter? Tweet about childcare - Can't think of anything try 'Childcare is the solution, not the problem!' or 'It's time to turn our family policy junkyard into a human development system' …(Early Learning Study 3, 2011, p. 19-21)
- Complete our survey, follow this link /survey.html
I HAVE 10 MINUTES OR LESS...
- Read Education Policies from the NDP, Conservatives & Liberals. Follow this link /resources.html.
- Call or write you local MPP and tell them why Ontario can't work without child care. Follow this link http://www.waitingforchildcare.ca/ to generate a letter to your MPP.
- Start a discussion with other families at drop off and pick up times.
I HAVE 30 MINUTES OR more...
- Start an e-mail campaign - write to friends, families, neighbours, teachers, collegues and let them know why child care is important to you, your family and your community.
- Write a letter to the editor for your local newspaper.
- Write a piece for your local newspaper, school, community or program newsletter.
